Experience the christening of the brand's latest, mirror-filled New York home.
On Thursday October 10, Lanvin hosted an opening celebrated for their newest home on Mercer street. Paris’ oldest fashion house is no foreigner to NY, but it’s been a minute—8 years since opening their first boutique in the city. Their latest retail space is unlike anything prior: light, mirror-filled, and in a dialoguing dance with both Lanvin’s history and the history of the neighborhood. With a descending entry ramp, you find yourself held and immersed in the Lanvin world.
The Lanvin world is precious, storied (beginning as small hat shop in 1889), and has always been evolving. In early 2019, Lanvin named a new creative director in acclaimed designer Bruno Sialelli. With Bruno at the helm, Lanvin is reimagining its sophisticated past, outfitting it for the present and future. Their 150 Mercer location reflects this, providing the perfect container for Bruno’s most recent collection.
