For Fall 2019, Vaquera brought us home to the sanctuary and familiarity of domestic life, but without a contrarian spin. References to homey staples like pinstripes, silky bed linens, and braided tassels were sent down the runway one after the next. With equal parts sharp tailoring and engulfing volume, Vaquera reminds us of our intimate, often tense, relationships to our home lives.
