Georgia Hilmer studies literature and writing at N.Y.U.’s Gallatin School, models, and makes photographs.
I love Instagram, but I also shoot film using a Yashica T4 that I got for my birthday last year. I took millions of faux-Polaroids with a Fuji Instax when I started modeling, and now I’ve graduated to 35mm. Discovering how my eye and aesthetic differ depending on the camera I use—film or digital, processed or iPhone—has been fascinating.

I recently saw Garry Winogrand’s show at The Met and a Brea Souders show at the Bruce Silverstein Gallery. I follow what Glen Luchford and Drew Jarrett are doing in fashion photography, and think Jamie Hawkesworth’s work is really interesting.
Here, Georgia shares her spring 2015 fashion month with Document.
