An Art Showdown at Paramount Ranch

During the last weekend in January, while visitors flocked to Printed Matter's LA Art Book Fair downtown, more adventurous and in-the-know art lovers made the hour-long journey (without traffic) to Paramount Ranch, a new fair located in an abandoned western movie set in Agoura Hills. In its second year, the two-day event founded by dealers Alex Freedman and Robbie Fitzpatrick and artists Liz Craft and Pentti Monkkonen featured over 50 galleries and art spaces along with a sizable number of performances and special projects.
