“If I could say anything about the book, the first would be that I truly just love it. It’s a collection of my still lifes, collages, landscapes, and the occasional nude. It’s color-coordinated for a subliminal experience and I see it as a carnal disruption of suburbia. Pages of the book bounce back and forth with imagery that has been altered and imagery that seems to have been altered, but has not. It challenges the viewer to question what is real without being too complicated, and I like that. It reminds me of an old race car movie, but without the race car.”

Chad will be signing books at Printed Matter’s L.A. Art Book Fair, which runs from January 30 through February 1.
